8 week Greif Recovery® Support Group GRM
This 8-Week Grief Recovery® Support Group is an action based program that is built to support grieving people as they move beyond the pain caused by any significant emotional loss. The program is uses “The Grief Recovery Handbook” written by John James and Russell Freidman. Each week there is required reading and homework assignments. This support group is a safe and supportive space for you to look what you were taught and what you believe about loss and grief.
In this program we will look at how loss has effected your life. You will learn and complete a set of actions that will allow you to move forward in your life letting go of the pain associated with the loss. The goal is for you to live fully with renewed hope without the fear of being hurt again. Recovery means claiming your circumstances instead of your circumstances claiming you and your happiness. Recovery means feeling better.
Whether you are grieving a recent loss or a loss from a long time ago, it is never too soon or too late to take the actions of this program.
